“ If you want pizza in the Town of Lubec, this happens to be just about your only choice. Fortunately, Morano’s does a nice job preparing the pies. They focus on pizza, just pizza and have become good at it. The crust is good, crunchy where it needs to be and the sauce adds to the favor. Because they are popular, they do run out of pizza from time to time. Tip: You are better off to call early and get your order in on the nights they are open. The pizza makers are pleasant and try to accommodate. ”

“ To be honest, we came here due to Bass Crocker's review. We like to try places that are rated 'the worst', based on one review. Sure glad we did. Service was great, prompt and personable. Pizza was very tasty, just the right amount of sauce, cheese and toppings to blend well. Will be back! Update July 2025: Don't understand the handful of negative reviews - this place is a gem. The pizza is good, thin crust Jersey pizza. The owner is personable and gave us some good tips as to where to see the fireworks. I appreciate a hard worker who produces a great product at a fair price. ”

“ I am a SUPER picky pizza person and this is, by far, the BEST pizza I have EVER had! (outside of NYC. And that was years ago.). Every single place I've tried (and there are hundreds, coast to coast), just cannot get it right. Morano's gets it 100%. I am utterly bummed that I live 400 miles away because I would order multiple ones to freeze and have on hand if I could! Pizza sauce should not ever be sweet in any way, shape or form. Morano's is the perfect savory sauce. The cheese is full of flavor and the crust is perfectly thin in the center and puffy/crunchy on the edges. My mouth is watering thinking about it and looking at the pic I took. Every pizza place in the country should take a lesson from Morano's cause this is the absolute real deal. ”

“ Pizza soooooo tasty that it makes the easternmost US city feel like a place to stick around for a while!!! Honestly....come for the scenery but stay for the delicious food at Morano's. We had the Bianco pizza (pictured) and am order of meatballs with garlic knots. The kids loved playing corn hole during the short wait for our food, and we dined al fresco at the picnic tables. Delicious and a great value. ”
